What's actually walkable
Organized the way a resident thinks about it — what's downstairs, what's a five-minute walk, and what needs a car — rather than a flat list.
On the promenade
The ground-floor retail strip is the main day-to-day resource: a mix of cafes, casual dining, a supermarket, and convenience retail spread across the buildings that front the canal walkway. Coverage isn't uniform yet — newer buildings have thinner retail than the longer-established stretch — so what's actually open changes as the development fills in. Treat any specific business list as a snapshot, not a fixture.
Fitness
Most buildings include a residents' gym as part of the building amenities, which covers day-to-day training for most people. For anything more specific — classes, pools, personal training — the nearby Meydan One and Downtown areas are a short drive and carry more dedicated fitness options than the promenade itself does today.
Groceries and markets
A supermarket on the promenade covers routine shopping without leaving the development. For a wider selection — specialty and international groceries in particular — residents typically drive to the larger supermarkets in Meydan or Business Bay rather than relying on the on-site option for everything.
