Four bus routes and an electric abra run to Global Village this season

Global Village opened its 31st season on 14 October 2026 and runs to May 2027. The RTA's announcement on 12 October lists what runs to it.

The four routes

Route 102 from Al Rashidiya Metro station, about 60 minutes. Route 103 from Union Metro station, about 40 minutes. Route 104 from Al Ghubaiba bus station, about 60 minutes. Route 106 from Mall of the Emirates Metro station, about 60 minutes.

On the water

Two electric abras run a tourist route on the park's lake, the RTA's first electric abras outside the creek and the canal.

From Riviera

Global Village is on Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Road, about 15 minutes by car from MBR City along Al Ain Road, which is why no bus route serves it from here: the drive is shorter than any transfer. The car park is the thing to plan for; on a winter weekend evening the entrances from Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Road back up for a kilometre.

For a Riviera resident the bus is only worth it on a Friday or Saturday night, when the car park is the problem, and then only route 103 from Union, because the Red Line from Business Bay reaches Union in twenty minutes and the bus is the shortest of the four. On a weekday evening drive, use the Al Ain Road entrance and park at the far end, where the queue to leave is half the length.
